In the ongoing case of motor insurance fraud, two separate incidents on the Gecitkoy–Kayalar road were falsely reported as traffic accidents to police. The people involved have been arrested and a further accomplice is being sought.
According to police, on July 13th 2012 a number of persons falsely represented that a traffic accident had occurred.
On August 28th another accident was reported to the police with a number of people being the same as in the initial accident.
Both these accidents were false and conjured up to defraud the insurance companies. The six men involved in both incidents have been arrested and one more is sought.
