Following our reports on the number of new council jobs created for UBP supporters recently, naturally those without political support are protesting that vacancies are being filled by undeserving applicants.
Today a story has emerged in a number of newspapers that may be the most extreme example yet.
An as yet, unidentified lady working for a private bank in Kyrenia asked for 20 minutes leave of absence. Within the same day she was working for Kyrenia council. Nobody in authority is willing to answer these claims but word is going round that the lady in question is the bride of one of the UBP Alsancak management team.
