As the dispute between the two coalition parties continues over the water management issue, the junior member of the coalition government, the National Unity Party (UBP), held a meeting yesterday led by its party chairman Huseyin Ozgurgun. A decision was made to issue an ultimatum to the CTP – the majority coalition party, regarding the water crisis issue.
The UBP will ask the government to sign the agreement reached with Turkey on the issue of water administration; otherwise it will demand that the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) steps down from government.
