The Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority (Kib-Tek) announced that the electricity will be cut on Monday, May 6 to subscribers with debts exceeding 675 TL for the period up to April 2024,, Yeniduzen reports.
In a written statement from Kib-Tek, it was stated that the electricity supplied to all private and corporate subscribers with outstanding instalment debts from legal contracts made with the institution would also be cut on Monday.
The announcement highlighted that the new disconnection fee is 275.87 TL and urged subscribers to make necessary payments to avoid any inconvenience.
