Guzelyurt traffic control police were out in force the day before yesterday.
They had set up vehicle checking points at four different locations and stopped many vehicles for documentation checks. The operation started at 6am and lasted until 9am.
Not surprisingly, they found many vehicles either without the correct papers or with defects to indicators or lights. Fines were issued as well as cautions.
A KIB-TEK van was found to have missing documents and was taken to the police station and impounded.
