Former Prime Minister İrsen Küçük said that he was still in the process of evaluating suggestions regarding his possible candidacy for the presidential election, ‘Kibris Postasi’ reports.
During an appearance on television, Küçük said that he still had strong political ties.
“It is still early to make any statements about the elections. I am receiving suggestions from many people and groups who want me to run for the president” he said, adding that he has been active in politics for more than 20 years and that many people see him as a solution to their problems.
Küçük said that it was too soon to make a final decision regarding the elections and that he will make an announcement once he evaluates the issue from all aspects.
