The walls of Kyrenia Castle are being damaged by bulldozers nearby and resulting in some stones falling down.
Ismail Sabbar, head of the Kyrenia Old harbour Protection Association says that the authorities had been warned that the vibration coming from the bulldozers would dislodge stones. However these warning were ignored.
Mr Sabbar claims that the works being carried out by Kyrenia Council are illegal because the necessary approval of the Council of Monuments has not been obtained.
