The Immovable Property Commission (IPC) established the TRNC in 2006, is going through its most difficult period, Turkish Cypriot daily Havadis reports.
The IPC, considered to be one of the most important agencies in the Cyprus negotiations, has been forced to suspend payments, because Turkey has withdrawn all funding to the committee.
Meanwhile, applications to the IPC have dramatically reduced this year. Applications for compensation by the Greek Cypriots numbered 1,926 in 2011. In 2015 application numbers fell to 182. By 2016, there were only 23.
