Health Minister Dr. Ali Pilli said on Friday that 31 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, 28 of whom were local.
In the south, 244 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in the last 24 hours.
Case numbers in North Cyprus total 1,881 and 11 deaths from the virus. In the south there have been 28,609 cases of the coronavirus and 166 deaths.
