The two Cypriot community leaders have decided to continue the Cyprus negotiations in Mont Pelerin, Switzerland from 7th to 11th November, the UN has said.
The intensive week of negotiations, aided by UN Secretary-General’s Special Advisor on Cyprus Espen Barth Eide, will focus on territory and other separate and unresolved issues.
Both leaders said that they hoped that their meetings in Switzerland would lead to the final phase of the talks, honouring their commitment to do their utmost to find a solution by the end of this year.
Having concluded their discussion ahead of the Swiss meetings, their negotiators will meet in their stead on 31st October.
