Lemongrove Forum Closes its Doors

Since launching almost seven years ago, Lemongrove Forum had attracted a large community of ex-pat and local users, with nearly 15,000 accounts registered. However, as of 31st January, the site has ceased to be available, apparently at the decision of its founder. He said:

When I originally opened the forum, there was a strong influx of new users off the back of Cyprus44 shutting down. Since then, conversation and new topics had slowed down dramatically and it no longer made sense for me to invest time and money into maintaining it. In October 2018, I ran a poll to gauge levels of interest but very few responses were received. That to me that was a clear response in its own right which factored into the decision to close the forum for good.

I thank all the original users who came to Lemongrove Forum as a place to speak freely about issues relevant to ex-pats on the island”.
