President Mustafa Akinci held a second meeting with UN Secretary-General’s temporary special advisor on Cyprus, Jane Holl Lute.
Their meeting began at 5pm at the presidency. Present at the meeting were Presidential Spokesman Baris Burcu and some members of the negotiating team.
The meeting lasted for around one and a half hours to try and formulate the terms of reference for renewed Cyprus talks. Mrs. Lute was scheduled to return to New York this evening, however, she decided to hold another meeting with President Akinci tomorrow.
Presidential Spokesman Baris Burcu said that they would be meeting again at 5pm on Tuesday.
