A major infrastructure project for this street is being carried out by Kyrenia council.
The current activity is the third stage of the project. It covers the area from Turgut Tahsin Street to the Limassol Sports Club and is planned to be complete in 4 months’ time.
All the services are being laid in one go; that is sewerage, rainwater drainage, drinking water, telephone and electricity lines.
In addition the pavements will be rebuilt to allow for easy access for disabled people.
The project will cost TL 600,000 of which TL 450,000 will come from Turkey.
