A traffic accident occurred on the Güneşköy Water Facilities Road, claiming the lives of 30-year-old Emre Artuğ Çiftçioğlu and 29-year-old Maria Anatolyevna Danovskaya, who was a passenger in the vehicle, Yeniduzen, reported.
According to information from the Police Press Office, at around 1:50 am, Emre Artuğ Çiftçioğlu, a resident of Bademliköy, was driving a jeep on the Güneşköy Water Facilities Road in a northward direction. Upon reaching a right-hand bend, he lost control of the vehicle. The jeep initially veered off the road, then re-entered uncontrollably before leaving the road again and colliding with a tree at the roadside.
As a result of the accident, the driver, Emre Artuğ Çiftçioğlu, the passenger, Maria Anatolyevna Danovskaya, also a resident of Bademliköy, and a dog in the vehicle lost their lives.
The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
