A man was arrested in Nicosia after drugs were found in his car during a police operation called “Red Light”, Yeniduzen reported.
Police in Nicosia pulled over N.S.’s car at around 1.30 am on Bedrettin Demirel Street for a standard check. While questioning him, they found his behaviour odd, prompting them to search the vehicle.
During the search, they uncovered 28 small packages, totalling around 40 grams, which they suspected to be cannabis.
He was then arrested.
