One man died and six others were injured in a traffic accident on the Kyrenia-Güzelyurt highway just after midnight on Sunday.
The police report says that a head-on collision between two cars resulted in the death of Metin Atalay (51) at the scene of the crash and six other passengers in total, suffering injuries.
Those involved were taken to Nicosia State hospital. Police are continuing their investigations.
