The TRNC Hoteliers Association has today announced the occupancy numbers for May 2013.
Below is a summary of their data.
a) 5 star hotels had an occupancy rate of 60%; this is down 7.7% on May 2012.
b) Occupancy for all other hotels was 45%, up 2.3 % on last year.
c) Overall average occupancy was 53% which is identical to last year.
Of the 87 hotels within the Hoteliers Association, 2 were closed and 8 were empty for May 2013.
