Meeting with Erdoğan was productive: PM Yorgancıoğlu

Turkish Cypriot Prime Minister Yorgancıoğlu after returning from his brief visit to İstanbul, said that his meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Erdoğan had been productive ‘Kibris Postasi’ reported.

Yorgancıoğlu, who was accompanied by the Minister of Finance Zeren Mungan and Minister of Agriculture and Energy Önder Sennaroğlu had a 45 minute long meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Erdoğan on their one day visit to İstanbul on Saturday.

Referring to their meeting with Erdoğan, Yorgancıoğlu said that he had found the opportunity to discuss the problems of North Cyprus including the drought that has hit the country.

Yorgancıoğlu added that his team and Erdoğan had come to an agreement on how to reach the budget targets for 2014.

The Turkish Cypriot PM also claimed that everyone would see the positive outcome of his meeting with Erdoğan, but he gave no further details about what these might be.
