Sixty percent of foreign workers in North Cyprus come from Africa, the Far East and Central Asia, Turkish Cypriot daily ‘Halkin Sesi’
It goes on to say that since last year, Turkish foreign workers have been leaving North Cyprus to return to Turkey to find work.
The paper writes that the majority of the foreign workers, work in the tourist industry and restaurants and claims that this creates problems for the tourist industry in the TRNC.
