International arrest warrants issued by the South Cyprus police for Efthymios Bouloutas and Markos Foros, have been filed with Interpol.
The two men, former board members of the now defunct Laiki Bank failed to turn up at a Greek court on 9th May, to face extradition to South Cyprus for a court hearing on 11th May.
They have been charged with fraud and misrepresenting the bank’s financial status. The court hearing has now been adjourned until June.
The two Greek nationals were already being pursued under European arrest warrants, however, International arrest warrants were issued, in case they tried to leave the EU.
