Teams from the Nicosia police department will be out with mobile speed guns this week.
The police department has recently purchased more speed sensor equipment and will be deploying these around the capital in an effort to reduce traffic accidents.
The sites in which they will be operating will be clearly marked, as they say that the purpose of the exercise is to reduce the speed of traffic, not give fines.
