Both the Derinya and Aplıç border crossing gates are ready to be opened on Monday”, said Erhürman.

Referring to the numerous amount of people crossing from South Cyprus to the North, Erhürman said that 20 new vacancies have been created for more personnel to help lighten the work load at the border crossings.

He also said that the opening date of the border crossings would be determined by the political decisions made by the two Cypriot community leaders.
