Tailwind Airlines added North Cyprus to their destination list this week with a flight carrying 186 passengers from Leipzig, Germany.
The Istanbul based airline, which is an Anglo-Turkish partnership, has added a Boeing 737-800 to its fleet and has made its first flight to North Cyprus. Tailwind aims to carry 60.000 tourists to the TRNC from Europe in 2015.
Tailwind Airlines, which began operations in 2009 has been flying mostly between Europe and Turkey for the last 6 years.
