The new Nicosia–Guzelyurt Metehan highway has been completed and will be open to traffic in 15 days’ time, Highways Agency director Hasan Erduran has said.
Residents in the Guzelyurt district will be able to reach the Metehan border crossing more easily and quickly, the director said.
There will be an official opening at a later date.
