A new hospital is to be built in the Karpaz. A protocol was signed to build a 72-bed hospital by Minister of Health Faiz Sucuoglu, Construction Engineer Özgün Akcan and Mechanical Engineer Mustafa Dağbaşı.
Implementation projects, technical specifications and exploratory reports on the construction of the hospital to be built on 20 acres of land near Pamuklu will have to be submitted to the relevant departments within 45 calendar days of signing the contract.
Health Minister Faiz Sucuoglu spoke about what he had achieved so far to ensure that there is a health centre in every province.
The health minister said that the new hospital will be a significant contribution to local healthcare, noting that it will serve a wide area.
The hospital will also contribute to tourism in the Karpaz region, he said, noting that this step is encouraging other investments to be made locally.
