North Cyprus is currently one of the most secure countries for investment, says Minister for Economy, Industry and Trade, Sunat Atun.
Speaking at a meeting he held in Istanbul with Turkish investors, he said that he had met with many investors from Turkey and other countries who had visited North Cyprus. These business people had expressed their interest in investing in the North, with particular emphasis on tourism and universities.
He added that there is interest also in investment in the TRNC by third countries.
During his contacts in Istanbul, Atun also met with the Qatari Ambassador in Turkey.
