The Anatolian Eagle 2019 Exercise will be conducted in international waters within the Aegean Sea between 7-10 May.
The TRNC Coast Guard Command will also participate in the sea phase of the exercise.
According to a statement released by the Cyprus Turkish Security Forces Command, the exercise will be conducted jointly by the Turkish Armed Forces and the Turkish Transportation and Infrastructure Ministry’s Main Search and Rescue Co-ordination Centre with the aim of testing the capability and ability of search and rescue elements and with a target of bringing the cooperation and coordination in joint search and rescue exercises to its highest level.
