Kudret Ozersay, chairman of the recently-formed People’s Party (HP) has called for early elections in North Cyprus.
Referring to the latest developments in the TRNC and the split in the CTP/UBP coalition government over the administration of the water transferred from Turkey, Ozersay said that the coalition government had lost its reputation.
The former chief negotiator in the Cyprus talks said that there have been no reforms but only trouble for the people. He added that the only way for solutions to be found to these problems is to call for early elections so that a new government, able to solve the issues and to negotiate, is formed.
