Over 3.5 million passengers passed through Ercan airport in 2015. The Civil Aviation Airport Operation Director, Mustafa Sofi told ‘Kibris Gazetesi’ that on Sunday, there had been 108 flights – a first for the airport.
Sofi said that the number of passengers using Ercan had increased by 8% in 2015 compared to 2014. He noted out that the annual passenger capacity of the airport is one million persons.
