A 20-year-old pedestrian who was crossing a road in Güzelyurt was hit by a bus at around noon yesterday, Yeniduzen reports.
The accident happened on Kutlu Adalı Boulevard in Güzelyurt while Melih Temiz (20) was crossing the road. He was taken to Nicosia State Hospital where he was diagnosed with a brain haemorrhage and remains under observation in intensive care.
The bus driver, Hasan Kurt (32) was arrested.
An investigation into the accident has begun.
