Fake dentist Kazikli Gezer was ordered to be held in jail for 15 days by Nicosia Court, yesterday .
Mr Gezer was arrested on 8th February at Ercan airport as he was leaving the TRNC to return to Hatay in Turkey.
He had entered the TRNC on 31st January and had illegally imported dental material from Hatay and was alleged to be posing and working as a dentist in the TRNC.
Gezer is accused of working against the laws of the Medical Association as well as importing goods without having paid duty on them. Mr Gezer said that he did not believe that he had done anything illegal.
The judge ordered Gezer to be held in jail until his court case comes up, as he is considered a flight risk.
