Passengers at Ercan Airport experienced chaos this morning as a power cut brought luggage carousels to a halt, Kibris Postasi reports.
Backup generators failed to take over, leaving airport staff in difficulties as well.
The electricity supply at the airport is still being fed by the building contractor’s temporary connection.
