Turkish Cypriot negotiator Ozdil Nami has said that the work by the technical committee was going well. Speaking to BRT, he said that yesterday was the first time that the Technical Economic Committee had met.
Nami noted that there would be a similar working group meeting next week to discuss the property issue.
He said that currently there is a positive on-going process and that he and Greek Cypriot negotiator Andreas Mavroyiannis were going over past convergences.
Nami said that it would be his turn to present a report to the leaders’ at their meeting on Wednesday.
He emphasised the importance of the process and the start of the give and take phase. Nami added that he hoped the positive atmosphere would continue.
