President Mustafa Akıncı and the Greek Cypriot leader Nicos Anastasiades met on Friday as part of the ongoing Cyprus negotiations.
The leaders last met on 25th April, which Akıncı had described as “fruitful”, in terms of reaching a full consensus on the first four chapters. Stating that it is not possible to make new progress at each meeting, Akıncı said that he believed progress had been made towards an agreement.
