Greek Cypriots held a service in Saint Charalambos Church in Türkmenköy.
600 Greek Cypriots crossed to the TRNC to attend the ceremony. US Ambassador to Nicosia John M. Koenig also followed the ceremony.
This is the first ceremony to be held at the church in 40 years following the restoration of the building. Bi-communal dance and music performances were organised following the ceremony.
