Restoration works on the ancient Sourp Magar monastery hidden away in the Besparmak Mountains has resumed.
Funded by the EU, maintenance work on the Armenian monastery, founded one thousand years ago, will be completed by the year’s end.
Technical support is being given by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Cyprus and the bicommunal Technical Committee for Cultural Heritage.
