Restrictions on the use of the Kyrenia-Değirmenlik Road (mountain road) will be lifted on Tuesday, Minister of Transport Tolga Atakan has said.
The ban was put in place because of road works which will be completed before the projected end date.
On Monday 5 March, restrictions were introduced prohibiting vehicles carrying less than nine passengers from using the road between 9am and 7pm. Heavy vehicles were banned from using the road between 7pm and 9am.
The travel ban will end on Tuesday, 13 March.
