The Police General Directorate have warned that the section between the Gönyeli roundabout and the Alpet-Altınbaş Petrol Station of Dr Fazıl Küçük Bulvarı will be closed from 7.30am until the end of the ceremony on 15 November.
Motorists travelling to the Industrial Zone can enter through the junction opposite the Alpet-Altınbaş Petrol Station or the Central Prison junction.
Motorists travelling from Gazimağusa to Near East Hospital can use the Alpet-Altınbaş Petrol Station lights to enter the Industrial Zone, then go to the north of the Atatürk Sport Complex and enter the Yakın Doğu Bulvarı (Near East Boulevard).
Motorists travelling from Gönyeli roundabout to Near East Hospital can access Yakın Doğu Bulvarı via TED College.
Those travelling from Gazimağusa into Lefkoşa should turn left at the Hamitköy roundabout, or turn left at the Tofaş lights, or from the Alpet-Altınbaş Petrol Station turn left onto Kemal Akay Caddesi.
Those travelling from Gazimağusa towards Güzelyurt should use the Metehan-Alayköy road (via the Citroen junction on Mehmet Akif Caddesi), or by accessing the Gönyeli roundabout via Dr Burhan Nalbantoğlu Caddesi (State Hospital road).
Those travelling from Güzelyurt into Lefkoşa can use the routes mentioned above.
Motorists from Girne towards Lefkoşa can use the Boğazköy-Dikmen road, enter the Industrial Zone and from the Alpet-Altınbaş Petrol Station lights enter Dr Fazıl Küçük Bulvarı, or exit the Gönyeli roundabout on Dr Burhan Nalbantoğlu Caddesi.
In Gazimağusa, the Zafer Anıtı roundabout, the road opposite the UN camp, and the area between Alsancak Sokak and the water fountain roundabout will be closed from 11.30 until the end of the ceremony.
Motorists are advised to follow the diversions and traffic signals.
