The head of the Traffic Accident Prevention Association, Mehmet Avci speaking at a press conference earlier today, had some grim news to deliver. He pointed out that there have been 42 road traffic accident fatalities in the last 10 months. This compares with 24 fatalities for the whole of last year.
One of his recommendations is that all traffic related matters are dealt with by one ministry rather than the three or four that are involved now.
