Work to repair and improve the Nicosia-Kyrenia dual carriageway is set to resume in the coming days, the Ministry of Public Works and Communications has announced.
A new contract was signed with the firm Tüfekçi Ltd to repair the section of the road between the St. Hilarion junction and the Salih Miroğlu coppice forest, damaged by heavy rains.
Sections of the road will be reduced to a single lane for the duration of the repair work.
Drivers are urged to exercise caution at all times and to follow warning signs.
