A saloon car caught fire and was completely burned out on the Nicosia-Guzelyurt main road at around 11.30 pm on Thursday, Kibris Postasi reported.
Firefighters put out the blaze but the car was totally destroyed. A fuel leak on the engine block was suspected.
An investigation into the fire is ongoing.
