Scattered showers are expected in some areas tomorrow and Sunday, the Met Office has said. The air temperatures will be around 37-40 C.
According to the weather forecast covering the period from June 29 to July 5, the region will be under the influence of a low-pressure system with cool and humid upper atmospheric conditions on the first two days of the forecast period, and hot and relatively humid air masses on the remaining days.
Tomorrow, the weather will be clear and slightly cloudy or partly cloudy at noon with scattered showers or thunderstorms in places.
Sunday will be partly cloudy, with scattered light showers at noon in places.
From Monday to Thursday, the skies be clear, then on Friday, it will be slightly cloudy, becoming partly cloudy over time.
The highest air temperatures are expected to be around 37-40 C inland and 33-36 C on the coast.
Winds will generally blow moderate from the south and west, becoming strong in places during the rainfall.
