The country is expected to remain under the influence of a cool and humid air mass over the weekend.
According to the Met Office, today’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy, with increased cloudiness around noon and scattered showers in some inland areas. Cloudy conditions will persist tomorrow and Monday. The weather is forecasted to be hot and humid in the days following.
The report indicates that the highest temperatures will range between 38-41 C inland and 34-37 C on the coast.
Winds will generally blow moderate from the south and west, with strong winds expected today.
The Met Office has issued a warning for citizens to be cautious due to the weather conditions. It advises people, especially during hot weather, to avoid prolonged outdoor exposure and to take necessary precautions.
