School bus drivers have suspended their strike action until Wednesday.
Kar-İş union leader Fuat Topaloglu said that they did not want students to be victims on the first days of school opening week and they have suspended their action until Wednesday.
The Ministry of Education announced that they had negotiated with Kar-İş in principle and that there would be no problems for student transportation as of tomorrow, but Kar-İş representatives have not confirmed this. The leader of the union said that there had been no agreement regarding pay rises, as yet.
