The search continues today for the body of a young woman, who was the fourth passenger in the car that plummeted down 200 metres of cliff face into a water-filled ravine from the Nicosia-Kyrenia highway, Ciklos region, on Thursday.
Heavy rains hampered the search for the last person to be found. The bodies of three other passengers, 18-year-old Günay Kandaz, 21-year-old Tolga Bekçi, and 23-year-old Ahmet Kılıç, were found yesterday, after their car was swept off the road by flood waters.
The body of Tolga Bekçi, was discovered on a rock in the cliff just below Ciklos, while the other two bodies were found in the stream bed in Doğanköy.
Director of the Fire Department Ahemt Ozmenek, police and soldiers were at the scene. Military dogs are being used to try and find the missing woman.
