Police are still unable to trace the remainder of the 3 million TL stolen from the Turkish Cypriot Co-op Bank, ‘Kibris Postasi’ reports.
Two masked gunmen held up a vehicle being used by the bank to convey the money on 24th July on the Nicosia – Guzelyurt main road. Two cars were later found abandonedin the Bostanci area.
Following police investigations, three men were arrested and 7,000 TL was discovered in a house in Aydinkoy.
The police told ‘Kibris Postasi’ that the search for the remainder of the money continues.
