Serdar Denktaş rushed to hospital

Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktaş was rushed to hospital today after falling ill during a parliamentary session. The DP-UG leader underwent a coronary angioplasty at NEU hospital, ‘Kibris Postasi’ reports.
Speaking to the press, physician in charge Dr. Sevim Erkmen said that Denktaş’s operation went well and that he is recovering well.

“There isn’t any problem with his main arteries but one of the side veins is blocked. He may need a stent to be put in.” added Erkmen.
