Seventeen refugees were discovered on the Taşlıca coast between Derince and Avtepe in the Karpaz region at around 5.30 pm on Friday, Yeniduzen reported. The group included six children, four women and seven men.
The Police Press Officer said that the boat carrying the refugees was found stranded on the Taşlıca coast. Police continue to investigate the incident.
