Shine on Harvest Moon

Watch out for the Harvest moon this evening which will rise in the east at dusk. This year’s Harvest moon is also a supermoon because becomes full less than one day after reaching lunar perigee – that is when the moon is at its closest point to the earth.

The supermoon will also bring in spring tides for the next few days where high tide will be extra high and will fall exceptionally low.
