Late this afternoon gunfire erupted in Nicosia. According to police, one shot broke the window of ‘Javal’, a high end jewelers, whilst another hit nearby boutique clothing store ‘Novita’.
Details of the incident are unclear at present, though police are at the scene conducting investigations. No casualties have been reported at this stage.
The incident marks an end to the recent lull in shootings in the TRNC. On the 9th of March, a club managers residence was shot at in the Bogaz area.
